Frontier Silicon and Broadcom are collaborating at various levels to help deliver total system solutions to our customers. Frontier Silicon is proud to be the MDTV solution provider integrated onto Broadcom mobile phone reference design “Majesty”. This design features Broadcom’s Video Core media processor interfaced directly to Frontier’s Kino 2 T-DMB baseband and Apollo RF. The design optimises the hardware and software interfacing, providing our joint customers with a turnkey solution for fast time to market. In addition, we have collaborated to ensure seamless interfacing of Broadcom’s DVB-H tuner to our Paradiso multi-standard baseband chip.
