Frontier Silicon announces that Anthony Sethill, Founder and CEO,
is to leave the Company.
London, 21st December 2011: Frontier Silicon today announced that Anthony Sethill, CEO and Founder of the Company, has decided to step down at the end of 2011 after leading the organisation for 10 years.
Anthony commented, 'I am very proud of the many industry-leading innovations that Frontier Silicon has created during my time with the Company. We have played a pivotal role in the development of the Digital Broadcast Radio ecosystem, initially in the UK and then in other countries around the world. I am leaving Frontier in the hands of a very experienced and talented team in a strong position to exploit the expanding Digital Radio market and the emerging opportunities in new digital audio technologies.'
For the board, John Dickson, Director said, 'On behalf of Frontier Silicon, I would like to thank Anthony for his contribution in building the Company and the market. Anthony has led Frontier through a period of substantial growth and development and has played a very significant role in ensuring that the UK has the world's most developed Digital Radio environment for broadcasters and consumers. We wish him well as he looks to the future.'
John Behrendt, Frontier's CFO since 2006, has been appointed CEO on an interim basis.
Prem Rajalingham, who has worked alongside Anthony during 2011, joins the Executive Management Team as Vice President – Sales and Support.
Anthony will work with John and the Frontier team to complete a smooth transfer of his responsibilities.
