The Venice 5.1 FS2025-1 module joins a new generation of DAB+
modules bringing digital radio to emerging markets. It is designed for high
performance at low cost, with worldwide application.
Venice 5.1 also receives DAB/FM, is electrically and mechanically
compatible with the bestselling Venice 5.0 DAB module, and uses the
Frontier Silicon Kino 2 baseband processor chip. It is designed to
enable production of dual- or tri-band DAB/DAB+/FM receivers at low
cost. Venice 5.1 operates in master mode for stand-alone radios, or in
slave mode under the control of an external microcontroller for more
complex audio systems.
The module includes all interfaces necessary for a fully functional
radio, needing only power supply, display, keypad, audio amplifier and
speakers to complete a product.
