The Venice 7 FS2027 module is the first in a new generation of digital audio products to use the new DAB+/DMA-A optimised Kino 3 baseband chip.
Ideal for WorldDMB profile 1 receivers, it provides additional features and enhanced performace in a plug-in replacement package for the world’s bestselling DAB module, Venice 5.
Venice 7 is designed for worldwide application, to enable production of high-performance dual- or tri-band DAB/DAB+/DMB-A/FM receivers at low cost. Venice 7 operates in master mode for stand-alone radios, or in slave mode under the control of an external microcontroller for more complex audio systems. Venice 7 is electrically and mechanically compatible with Venice 5, and includes an additional connector (shown at top) for additional features and interfaces such as USB.
The module includes all interfaces necessary for a fully functional radio, needing only power supply, display, keypad, audio amplifier and speakers to complete a product.
